(T)horny is an interactive installation where the viewer can sit or lay within the installation. The title refers to the piece as a whole. Each element is a piece in itself.
It was installed in an empty room within the ruins of a village in Andalusia, Spain.

Across thousands of cultures and through out history stories about castrating vaginas with teeth have been found.
Cob is a natural way of building. This bench & recliner(next image) were created by forming the shape of base with rocks, broken concrete & gravel, all collected from the surrounding environment. A mixture of clay, water & straw is then spread over the base then smoothed over with a mixture of gypsum & various local colored clays.
Cob recliner is edged around the head & arm rest with tree knots & faces out to the valley below.

The Toothed Rose: repurposed cabinet door, gouache, varnish
Many of these stories of castrating toothed vaginas include, stabbing with a knife, beating with hard object, punching & gang raping the teeth out of the vagina which then makes her more desirable to men and readies her for marriage.
Un Cut, Un Clean: Tree root, gouache, varnish
Some cultures today practice the removal of "teeth" by "stabbing with a knife", the partial or total removal of external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons with a razor blade or a shard of broken glass, to "cleanse" the girl and ready her for for marriage.
